Joey was born in Austin, Texas where there was never a shortage of live music to see, delicious BBQ to chow, or fantastic greenbelt nature to explore. After growing up in Westlake hills, he earned a bachelors degree in architecture at The University Of Texas.

Joey then worked on large multi-family projects and condos for a few years in downtown Austin. After moving to Houston and then Fort Collins, he has been living in San Luis Obispo where it's easy to unwind by hiking, camping, and exploring the central coast.
